Always remember who Julie Bindel is: a virulent homophobe, full of hate and self-imposed fear. This is what transphobia does. It absolutely rots your brain.

"LGB-no-T" campaigner Julie Bindel says she'd BAN pride if she could, in order to protect children from predatory gay men. Absolutely fucking appalling. A whole column โ€”ย "A Pride of Perverts" โ€” going on like this.

TERFing really cooks the brain.
I feel afraid for vulnerable teenagers who, questioning or exploring their sexuality for the first time, go along to a Pride march in the hope of meeting like-minded young people. The parades are now hunting grounds for predatory men, who can dismiss as
'homophobia' any attempt to rein in their behaviour.
If I could ban Pride, I would, to protect young people - especially women, but also teenage boys who are very much in danger of being sexually abused and exploited by much older men.
Women like me are sick of being lumped in with trans-identified people, with kinksters, with those that just call themselves 'asexual', 'non-binary', 'sapiosexual' or
'aromantic' - people who are never going to face oppression or discrimination for their sexuality. The Pride movement is redundant.
I once wrote an email to a horrid coworker with four independent typos, like "attahed" instead of "attached". The four missing letters were C, U, N, and T in that order. Can't be accused of calling him one if I never wrote those letters.
Crazy part about all of this is during quarantine we all literally saw nature bounce back and start healing just from mfs keeping they ass home, also found out we dont need to be living like this doing this extra shit working like we do, saw that and said yanno lets go back to killing the planet

Let me be explicit. The massive heat waves we're seeing around the world more extreme and frequent due to human-caused #climatechange. And these heat waves are going to continue to worsen because of our failure to reduce carbon pollution. Just one of the many costs of #climate change.
We can't afford another lost decade.

It's time to turn the page.
My friend's just said "I think Wayne Rooney looks much better now he's an older gentleman".

The look I gave him and the scream he let out as I told him that Rooney is exactly our age ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Studio Ghibli turns 41 today!
Better a pig than a fascist.
In our world of free university education, cheap housing for the young, assured starter jobs, massive strides to solve climate change, principled refusal to support inhumane wars, and a tender patient-led approach to young people's mental health, obviously social media is the problem.

Kids are on their phones too much. I don't know why they don't use the many youth clubs, public swimming pools, community clubs or sports facilities successive governments and skint local authorities have underfunded, closed or sold to property developers.
There have been a lot of counter-racism protests in the UK that demonstrate just what a vocal minority the right are. Not sure if theyโ€™ll get the same breathless news coverageโ€ฆ

A wee group of angry balaclava and mask-wearing anti-immigration guys tried to stop the good people of Glasgow showing solidarity with migrants and standing up to racism and fascism. Well, the far right are far outnumbered...

Photo of a small group of mostly men wearing black, with masks and balaclavas, surrounded by a Police Scotland cordon in the bottom of the photo, in the foreground. In the background, a very large colourful crowd of people with saltires, trade union banners, and hand-made signs in support of migrants and against racism have turned up to gather to show solidarity, and the far right guys were hoping to thwart that. They didn't.
Did you see the sign today about hobbies?
Photo of a protest sign in Glasgow which says, 'racism is weird, have you tried hobbies?'

We need an update to the vital "eat the rich" chart to now cover $1trn.

This is the closest I've seen to a useful visual representation of what the obscene wealth of billionaire, not even trillionaire, status looks like.

No wonder aliens want nothing to do with us, uncivilised

A society with one trillionaire and millions of people in poverty is something to be deeply ashamed of, actually
"it's just a handful of them burning stuff down, a few bad eggs"
"It's just a handful of brown people attacking others"
"It's not the same"

You're either making an assumption that all black and brown people are terrorists and excusing white people or you're too stupid to see the double-standard.
The outrage at arrests of brawlers and arsonists at these violent "protests" goes to show that these people don't want integration of POCs, or any such facade. They want absence or subservience. To attack with impunity. Because we wouldn't be talking about "concerned citizens" if I razed a building.
This is why we have race riots every summer now

Because the government has allowed political parties like Reform and Restore to be openly racist.
Because the government hasn't countered the threat of far right foreign influence.
Because the government hasn't banned X despite its repeated law breaks
